The design intent of this project was to enhance the value of The 1000 de La Gauchetière as a crossroad between the transport system with the South Shore as well as to create a food court zone unique in character due to its comfort, aesthetic quality, and disposition, following the contour of an indoor skating rink.

The new planning of the zones surrounding the skating rink aimed at creating a play of levels all with a view of the ice. The new finishes, lighting and furniture result in a warmer, more welcoming space, including intimate, quieter areas and a zone for smokers.
