Among these were: the de-allocation and the decontamination of old industrial installations; the reutilization of recuperated materials; the design of new, more efficient installations in terms of energy costs; optimal utilization of spaces and volume; the use of new materials and avant-garde construction techniques including natural ventilation (operable windows) and the optimization of natural lighting.
