Supported by a total staff of 100 composed of architects, project managers, interior designers, engineers, technicians, computer imaging and graphic design specialists, the firm's activities are spread across the USA, Canada and the United Kingdom with core business and expertise in architecture, retail design/rollout, workspace design and mechanical/electrical engineering. The firm was established in 1979 and initially operated under the names of 'Les Architectes Dupuis Dubuc et Associés' and 'Michel Dubuc Concept'; it redefined its presence on the North-American market in the late 90's by merging its various services under a new name, Ædifica.

The firm owns the 12,000 sq. ft. building it occupies in Montreal and its team works in a fully computerized and networked environment while making use of electronic communications and in-house video conferencing to bridge geographical boundaries and maintain quality communication links with its client base.
